Last September, WWE NXT underwent several changes as it was rebranded with bright colors instead of black and gold.

The company also reduced signing established independent talent and moved towards scouting athletes with no wrestling background. They also wanted younger and taller people instead of short and older wrestlers.

According to Pwinsider.com, the creative team still reports to Bruce Prichard. Shawn Michaels oversees the brand. Johnny Russo is the head writer, with other writers including Nick Bonnano and George Carroll, who recently returned to WWE a few months after he was released in January.

The brand presented the Great American Bash special on Tuesday's edition of NXT 2.0 with four title matches featured. NXT Champion Bron Breakker retained his title over Cameron Grimes in the main event.

As was previously noted, Triple H recently had a meeting with talent and officials in Orlando and declared, "I'm back." He did not elaborate on what t. There had been reportedly talk before the Vince McMahon scandal that Triple H would be back in a more significant role.
