AJ Styles: The Phenomenal Legacy

While the WWE Universe is still mourning his in-ring retirement following his loss to Gunther at the Royal Rumble, AJ Styles isn't going anywhere. Styles has officially signed a new "Legend/Ambassador" and developmental deal. The retirement became even more "Phenomenal" this week when The Undertaker appeared after AJ left his gear in the ring to officially announce Styles as an inductee into the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame.

Hulk Hogans Wrestlmania Boots

The memorabilia market has hit "God Tier" status following the passing of Hulk Hogan in 2025. His match-worn and signed boots from the very first WrestleMania—featuring his own handwriting: "Real boots with my real blood from MSG"

The bidding started at $158,600. Logan Paul revealed he tried to buy the boots but the Maverick met his match. Logan shared the experience:

"Stayed up until 2am in a bidding war trying to win Hulk Hogan’s boots from Wrestlemania 1. I tapped out at $1,021,000. Gg to the winner."

Whoever took home this "Holy Grail" of memorabilia just made one of the biggest power moves in the hobby.

The Vision getting blurred!

What was supposed to be a dominant era for The Vision has instead become a grim case study in the "pro wrestling curse." The faction’s trajectory has been systematically dismantled by a relentless wave of medical disasters that started with its original visionary, Seth Rollins, who was forced out of the group following a severe shoulder injury. The curse only deepened once the "Wise Man," Paul Heyman, took the reins; his handpicked centerpiece, Bron Breakker, was sidelined with a serious hernia just as he was gaining momentum. The final blow came during the February 23, 2026, episode of RAW, when Bronson Reed suffered a devastating bicep tear while competing in an Elimination Chamber qualifier. With its three primary heavy hitters now reduced to hospital reports, the group that was meant to "shape the future" is being mocked by fans as "The Vision Impaired," leaving only Austin Theory and Logan Paul to hold down a fort that is rapidly crumbling under the weight of legitimate physical misfortune.

The "Wise Man's" Pledge

Despite the mounting "curse" narrative, Paul Heyman appeared on the Busted Open Podcast to address the setbacks. He argued that the frustration of being sidelined would ultimately transform his clients into something far more dangerous than before.

"He’s [Breakker] gonna come out hungrier than ever because now he understands what it’s like to miss out... when he comes back, he’s going to appreciate this even more than he already does. There is never a right time to get injured... So, what’s gonna happen is that every day he’s home right now, it’s eating him up alive. Great. I want that for him."

The Masked Menace Unmasked

Seth "Freakin" Rollins shocked the world when he was revealed as the mystery masked man who has been haunting his former faction, The Vision, for weeks. During the Men’s Elimination Chamber match, a "decoy" masked man first drew away security, allowing the real perpetrator to slip into the cage. Rollins ambushed Logan Paul with a devastating Stomp, directly leading to Paul’s elimination by Cody Rhodes. After the dust settled, Rollins unmasked to a thunderous ovation, officially marking his return from the shoulder injury he suffered back in October. It was a cold-blooded act of revenge against the group that turned on him, setting the stage for a high-stakes "Visionary vs. The Vision" showdown as we head toward WrestleMania 42.

Penelope Ford Sidelined again?

There was a major scare on the February 25 episode of AEW Dynamite during the Women's World Tag Team Championship match. Penelope Ford, teaming with Megan Bayne against the "Babes of Wrath" (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron), was injured while performing a moonsault to the floor.

Ford was visibly in distress and attended to by ringside physicians before being escorted backstage. Due to the injury, an immediate audible was called from the back, leading to a disqualification finish involving Lena Kross to end the match abruptly. While a fracture was initially feared, medical evaluations as of February 28 confirm it is a sprained ankle, and she is expected to return to the ring soon.

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champion Harley Cameron deactivated her X (formerly Twitter)

account following a wave of intense online harassment from fans. The backlash centered on a spot during the February 25, 2026, episode of AEW Dynamite, where Penelope Ford suffered a legitimate leg injury after executing a moonsault to the floor. Critics targeted Cameron for being out of position to safely catch Ford, leading to a "toxic" atmosphere that included personal insults and calls for her to be stripped of her title. While Cameron did not release a formal departing statement, her stance on her career and the industry has been clear in recent interviews, where she stated:

"I will say my focus and heart is on wrestling... wrestling is not a stepping stone for me. Wrestling is the focus and the passion."

Who’s the most Dangerous?

Swerve Strickland and Brody King represent two distinct styles of lethality in AEW. Swerve is a tactical assassin who utilizes psychological warfare and surgical precision, recently reclaiming his "vicious" edge by targeting top stars with cold-blooded intent. Conversely, Brody King is a powerhouse of pure physical destruction; his recent dominant performance against MJF solidified his status as a monster who can end careers with a single Gonzo Bomb. While Swerve is the more dangerous strategist, King is currently the more dangerous physical threat due to his overwhelming size and recent unstoppable momentum.

Danhausen Debuts in WWE

After weeks of a mystery storyline involving a large crate being shipped between Raw and SmackDown, General Managers Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis finally opened the box during the event to reveal Danhausen emerging from a coffin. He made his way to the ring accompanied by a group of background dancers wearing his signature face paint, one of whom was reported to be his wife, professional wrestler Lauren Abbott. Upon reaching ringside, he presented commentator Michael Cole with a jar of teeth. Despite the high-profile reveal, the debut received a polarized reaction; while there was an initial pop, many fans in the United Center reportedly booed or remained silent, largely because the weeks of hype led many to expect a bigger star, such as a returning Chris Jericho. Following the event, reports indicated a mixed backstage reception, with some internally comparing the segment to the infamous "Gobbledy Gooker" debut due to the disconnect between the hype and the fan response.

The Viper’s Road to WrestleMania 42

In a chaotic main event Randy Orton survived the steel structure to secure his spot at WrestleMania. The match was filled with surprises. After an assist from an unlikely source—his long-time friend Cody Rhodes—Orton did what he does best. As Rhodes was dealing with an interference from Drew McIntyre, Orton struck with a devastating RKO out of nowhere, pinning the American Nightmare to punch his ticket to a title match against McIntyre at WrestleMania.
