Grand Slam Australia: History in the Making

The land down under was the site of a seismic shift in the AEW landscape this past weekend. From golden (and pink) dreams to traumatic haircuts, the Qudos Bank Arena saw it all.

The Protostar and His Shiny Pink Belt

"The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher didn't just survive a brutal ladder match against Mark Briscoe to retain his TNT Championship—he reinvented it. Following the victory, Fletcher debuted a brand new, custom Pink TNT Title. Fletcher, who has pledged to represent AEW with a style all his own, has certainly set social media ablaze. Is this the boldest custom design in the title's history?

The Death Riders’ Hair-Raising Night

In a chaotic Mixed Tag Team Tornado Hair Match, the stakes couldn't have been higher. Orange Cassidy and "Timeless" Toni Storm walked away with their locks intact, but Wheeler Yuta wasn't so lucky. After losing the fall, Yuta attempted to flee, only to be hauled back by the ear by Jon Moxley himself. The result? A forced "free haircut" that leaves the Death Rider with a stark new look for 2026.

The Forbidden Door Swings to House of Glory

The independent wrestling world was rocked when MJF made a surprise appearance at House of Glory (HOG). Never one to mince words, "The Generational Talent" targeted Zilla Fatu, calling him a "sloppy Samoan nepo baby."

The disrespect to the Bloodline lineage didn't stop at words; MJF has officially offered Zilla a shot at the AEW World Championship this coming Friday at HOG's No Turning Back. Defending the richest prize in the business on an indie stage? MJF continues to be the most unpredictable champion in the game.

Cease and desist

During a recent virtual signing for K & S WrestleFest, Trey Miguel revealed that the Buzz Lightyear ring gear that The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz & Trey Miguel) wore at TNA’s 2024 Slammiversary pay-per-view got them a Cease and Desist notice from Disney
