Little Miss Bliss & the Queen have both been in WWE for about the same time frame. Charlotte Flair had her 1st televised match almost exactly 9 years ago, in July of 2013... whereas Alexa Bliss initially graced our screens in May of 2014. Both women made their way through WWE NXT, with Flair winning the NXT Women’s Title... but Bliss never achieved her 1st taste of gold until the main roster.
Alexa spoke with NXT UK Superstar Jinny on BT Sports about the bond that she had with Charlotte immediately. She says they bonded over their past & commonalities. By starting slightly before Bliss, Flair assisted in guiding her through the motions in NXT.
“We were starting around the same time & Charlotte definitely took me under her wing & was that person. She would let me ride to the shows with her & Mojo. We became a very close group. I was really happy that one of my 1st matches was against Charlotte. It was kind of a full-circle moment.”
Twisted Bliss also spoke about when she was drafted to the main roster. She doubted that it was going to happen @ that moment... or even @ all. So many of her peers had moved on & she hadn’t @ the time.
Currently, Alexa Bliss' on the Raw roster & participated in the 2022 Money in the Bank ladder match. She appeared on the July 4th episode of Raw in a backstage segment, alluding that she was ready to go after the Raw Women’s Title, currently held by Bianca Belair.
