American Dragon Returning For Fight For the Fallen?

Bryan Danielson has been out of action for almost two months, last wrestling for Double or Nothing back in May. Of all the high profile wrestlers on All Elite Wrestling's injured list right now, the American Dragon's injury had the biggest question mark hanging over it. Turns out he's ready to go, before anybody else on that same list.

During Saturday's Death Before Dishonor, a number of matches for this coming Wednesday's Fight For The Fallen were announced. Bouts for the Interim & Women's Championships, but most notably of all, Danielson versus Daniel Garcia. It's confirmed the former WWE Superstar is good to go... and a repeat of a terrific match he had, earlier this year.

Bryan beat Garcia back in February and it seems likely he'll win again here. On the bright side for the Jericho Appreciation Society star, he was on the winning side in the Anarchy in the Arena match. A rematch against the former WWE World Champion was the only bit of good news for Garcia on Saturday too, as he failed to dethrone Wheeler Yuta in their battle for the ROH Pure Championship during Death Before Dishonor.

Who Else Will Return Before All Out?

The American Dragon's return comes just days after a report outlining Tony Khan's hope that the four biggest AEW stars sat on the sidelines right now will be back for All Out. Bryan's availability for that show was arguably the most in doubt. Now Khan will be waiting on the statuses of Kenny Omega, Adam Cole and CM Punk, before finalizing what we'll see on September 4th.

Elsewhere on Fight For The Fallen this Wednesday, Jon Moxley will defend the Interim Title against Rush, who picked up a big win over his brother Dragon Lee Saturday night. Thunder Rosa will also be defending her title. The match against Miyu Yamashita will be the first time the AEW Women's Title has been on the line since Forbidden Door last month.
