Andrade: Shuts Down Baseless Social Media Rumor Linking Him To Criminal Activity

ree

Former WWE and current AEW star Andrade El Idolo has been forced to publicly address and debunk bizarre, unsubstantiated rumors circulating on social media regarding his recent absence from wrestling programming.

The speculation, which initially focused on his contractual status and a possible WWE non-compete clause following his release, took an extremely sharp and baseless turn when a social media user began propagating a far-fetched theory.

This individual, operating under the handle @vagoni256, suggested without any evidence that Andrade's absence was somehow connected to involvement with the Mexican cartel or a wider “nationwide crime scheme.”

Andrade, clearly tired of the wild and unwarranted speculation, broke his silence and used his own social media platform to firmly reject the narrative. In a short, pointed, and slightly humorous post on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote:

“What?? Tranquilo amigo!! Will everyone please stop making things up?!”

The multi time champion brushed aside the serious nature of the rumors, even joking that he might launch an OnlyFans account while waiting out his non-compete period.

It has been widely reported by multiple wrestling news outlets that the true reason for Andrade's absence is not injury, disciplinary action, or any criminal activity, but rather a standard 90-day non-compete clause that WWE enforced following his release.

Andrade's direct and swift response aims to put a stop to the harmful and unfounded accusations, allowing the focus to return to his eventual in-ring return once his contractual obligations are fulfilled.
