The rankings are in, and ESPN has dropped its highly anticipated "Top 30 Pro Wrestlers Under 30" list for the 2025 calendar year, sparking immediate debate across the wrestling world. While the list confirms the immense star power of the next generation, one name reigns supreme: WWE's polarizing sensation, Dominik Mysterio, who secures the coveted #1 spot for the second year running.
The Reign of "Dirty Dom" Continues at #1
Dominik Mysterio, at the age of 28, has officially cemented his status as the industry's premier star under 30. ESPN's panel cited his incredible consistency, his run as arguably the best heel in the business, and the ability to capture major championships outside of his father Rey Mysterio's shadow—specifically mentioning dual-championship reigns (WWE Intercontinental and AAA Mega Championship) in the past year.
The battle for the top five was fierce, with AEW and WWE splitting the top honors, but Mysterio held off AEW's Kyle Fletcher (#2) and WWE's powerhouse Rhea Ripley (#3) to retain his crown.
The highest-ranked newcomer is Blake Monroe at #7, who joins the list following a major-league debut in NXT. ESPN noted that Monroe is the wrestler formerly known as Mariah May, highlighting a major career change and repackaging for the rising star.
