The former Universal Champion has been away from WWE programming for nearly two months now, having last appeared at SummerSlam 2022 on July 30th. There, he lost his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match {a Last Man Standing bout} to Roman Reigns in what the Federation hyped as the final installment of their rivalry.
As you can see in this photo, the 45-year-old Lesnar is sporting a different look now. He's still sporting the ponytail, but Brock's now totally clean-shaven.
The Beast Incarnate shared a new look when he returned to WWE at Summerslam 2021 after spending more than a year away. He sported a beard, a ponytail and farmer clothes. The former Paul Heyman Guy also enjoyed the WWE Universe's cheers for the first time in his second tenure, after spending nearly a decade basking in their boos.
There is no clear indication on when Lesnar may return to the Federation. The company usually saves his matches for major pay-per-views and stadium events, though he wasn't on the card for Clash at the Castle on September 3rd. WWE often uses him for the events in Saudi Arabia,... and Crown Jewel 2022 will take place on November 5th.
The Head of the Table defeated the former NCAA Wrestling standout in three title matches in the latest installment of their rivalry: Crown Jewel 2021, the main event of WrestleMania 38 and of course SummerSlam.
So What's Next?
As previously mentioned, WWE hyped the Lesnar-Reigns SummerSlam bout as the final match of their rivalry. Brock's always involved in the main event scene, but Roman's the holder of the Unified WWE Universal Championship. Unless he drops one of those two titles soon, there's no path for the Federation to use the Beast Incarnate as a main event star any time soon. The Tribal Chief will defend the title against YouTube star Logan Paul at Crown Jewel. So unless they want to shows Paul's wrestling homicide on pay-per-view, with a Triple Threat Match... HE SAID LOUDLY, FOR WWE TO HEAR...!
