MOUNT EVEREST, NEPAL – (May 2025) – All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star and professional daredevil Darby Allin returned from his Mount Everest expedition having cemented his reputation as one of the world's most fearless athletes. Not only did Allin successfully reach the summit of the world's highest peak on May 18, 2025, becoming the first professional wrestler to ever achieve the feat, but during his climb, he successfully performed a skateboard kickflip at a documented elevation of 20,958 feet (6,388 meters) above sea level.

The kickflip, performed at Everest Camp II, was widely regarded as the highest-altitude kickflip in history. The sheer audacity of the stunt, executed in the severe cold and thin air of the mountain, quickly went viral. Allin, however, confirmed that the accomplishment was never officially registered with organizations like Guinness World Records due to their stringent pre-registration requirements.

"They didn't count it, because you’ve got to get with them first before you do something," Allin explained in a post-expedition interview. "I’m just like, dude, in my heart, I know I hold the world record. Ain't nobody doing a kickflip higher than 21,000 feet, that was no joke."

The former AEW TNT Champion’s two-month hiatus was well-documented, with the climbing and subsequent successful summit drawing international attention. Allin’s expedition was a testament to the unyielding spirit he displays inside the ring, a determination rooted in an unwillingness to quit.

This unwavering resolve will be tested in the coming days. Having returned to AEW, Allin is now set to clash with his long-time rival, Jon Moxley, in a brutal "I Quit" match at the AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view on Saturday, October 18, 2025. The match, the culmination of a violent and personal feud, demands that one competitor verbally submit to end the contest.

For a man who refused to break his own spirit at the top of the world, facing a match where he is literally forced to utter the words "I Quit" presents the ultimate psychological and physical challenge. After conquering the Himalayas, Darby Allin's next high-stakes battle is to prove his heart is as unbreakable as his resolve on the slopes of Mount Everest.
