Jay White not expected to sign with WWE

WWE fans hoping to see Jay White join the company will be disappointed to hear that all signs are pointing to him not signing with the promotion. 

As previously reported, White's New Japan Pro Wrestling contract is up. He was expected to leave NJPW with people believing both WWE and AEW that the promotions are interested in signing him.

In February, the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion lost a "Loser leaves Japan" match to Hikuleo at NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka and then lost to AEW’s Eddie Kingston at the Battle in the Valley pay-per-view in San Jose, California.  

WrestleMania weekend has come and gone and despite speculation that White could make his WWE debut on the post-Mania edition of Raw, that obviously didn’t happen.
