Fightful Select has now reported that WWE allowing a wrestler’s contract to run down isn’t a one-off and that Pete Dunne’s deal is also expiring. It isn’t known if WWE intends to offer him a new contract. Still, it would be surprising if they didn’t, considering he has been a prominent performer on the brand. Just six months headlined a TakeOver event against Finn Bálor for the NXT Championship.
