Wrestling icon Raven (Scott Levy) recently gave a candid update on his health, revealing on The Ariel Helwani Show that he has been diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson’s disease. The former ECW and WWE star explained that the disease accounts for the tremors fans might notice, noting that the symptoms tend to worsen when he is anxious or physically exhausted. This diagnosis caps off a period of intense health struggles for the legend, who has spent the last few years undergoing major surgeries, including replacements for both knees and a shoulder, alongside battles with spinal stiffness and a severe sleep disorder.

When pressed on whether he believes his current ailments are a direct result of his famously hardcore wrestling career, Raven was unflinching. "Of course. Absolutely," he stated, accepting that the years of chair shots, physical abuse, and personal struggles meant he ultimately had to “pay the piper” for the damage done. Despite the immense physical toll, he shared that he has found a sense of contentment in his life that eluded him for many years, stressing that his past mistakes helped shape the happy person he is today.

Addressing the frequent topic of mortality among wrestling veterans, Raven dismissed the common fear of dying young. He joked that he was already “on the dead pool list for years,” but reflected on aging with his notorious bluntness. While he doesn't fear a short life, he made it clear he doesn't wish to live forever either. Raven concluded with a tough-minded philosophy about getting older: "Old age ain’t for pussies. You got to be tough to get old.”
