ree

Today marks a date of bittersweet reflection for wrestling fans everywhere. October 9th, 2023, would have been the 58th birthday of Eduardo Gory Guerrero Llanes, known to the world simply as Eddie Guerrero. Though he was tragically taken from us far too soon on November 13, 2005, at just 38 years old, his spirit and legacy live on, particularly within the AFW community. It’s a somber reminder of the talent we lost, but also a powerful opportunity to celebrate the incredible, groundbreaking life he led inside the ring.

He is recognized as both a WWE Triple Crown Champion and a WWE Grand Slam Champion, cementing his place among the all-time elite. His contributions were honored with multiple Hall of Fame inductions, starting with the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006. As we remember him today, we honor a career that burned brightly, leaving a permanent and beautiful mark on wrestling history.
