What started in 2022 as a dark crusade led by Edge has transformed into one of the most volatile and successful factions in modern history. The group has traded loyalty for gold and mentors for ambition, leading us to the shocking landscape of 2026.
The Foundation: "The Mountain of Omnipotence" (2022)
The group began with Edge recruiting Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. They were a calculated, brooding force that made it clear they were here to take over.
"We are the judge, the jury, and the executioners." — Rhea Ripley
The Coup and the Rise (2022–2024)
The evolution took a turn for the ruthless when Finn Bálor was brought in, only to help Priest and Ripley exile Edge the very same night. This era was defined by a family of outcasts and a mountain of championship gold:
World Heavyweight Championship (Damian Priest)
Women’s World Championship (Rhea Ripley)
Undisputed Tag Team Titles (Bálor & Priest)
NXT North American Title (Dominik Mysterio)
The Fall of the Terror Twins (August 2024)
The "founding" spirit of the group was shattered at SummerSlam 2024 in a double betrayal. Finn Bálor cost Damian Priest the World Heavyweight Title, while Dominik Mysterio turned on "Mami" to align with Liv Morgan. This cleared the way for a brand new era.
The New Blood & The Veteran Exit (2024–2025)
As the stable rebuilt, it saw both new faces and the end of a "cool" era:
Carlito (The Arrival & The Exit): After months of hanging around the clubhouse, Carlito officially joined in 2024. However, his tenure ended in late 2025. The group—specifically JD McDonagh—felt Carlito was "too relaxed" and was coasting on his veteran status while they were doing the heavy lifting. In a brutal backstage segment, they told him he "wasn't cool enough" anymore and laid him out, effectively kicking him to the curb to make room for more aggressive talent.
Raquel Rodriguez (October 2024): She returned at Bad Blood to ensure Liv Morgan kept her title, providing the muscle the group needed to replace Priest.
Roxanne Perez (June 2025): "The Prodigy" was officially voted into the ranks on June 30, 2025. She stepped in seamlessly, immediately capturing the Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Raquel.
The Final Betrayal: The Ousting of the Prince (March 2026)
Just this month, the cycle of betrayal came full circle for Finn Bálor. Despite being the longest-serving member and the architect of the group's peak, he was brutally removed. After tension peaked following Dominik's Intercontinental Title loss, Dominik and JD McDonagh led a vicious assault on their former mentor, proving that no one's spot is ever safe.
"Edge was the past. We are the now. We don't take orders; we take over." — Finn Bálor (2022)
What's Next?
With every founding member and now the "Prince" gone, the 2026 Judgment Day is a different beast entirely. Led by Dominik Mysterio, the unit of JD McDonagh, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Roxanne Perez is younger and more spiteful than ever. They aren't looking for "workmanship"—they are looking to burn down the old guard and rule the locker room with an iron fist.
"You’re either with the Judgment Day, or you’re in our way. And Finn? He was in the way." — Dominik Mysterio
