the Octopus Wants Out of His ROH / AEW Contract

Fightful Select's reporting that Jonathan Gresham has asked for his All Elite Wrestling / Ring Of Honor release.

The Octopus lost the ROH World Championship to Claudio Castagnoli in the opening match of ROH Death Before Dishonor. There's been speculation that Gresham may have been unhappy about losing, because he didn't look happy during his entrance nor he did come out with his full entrance attire.

Fightful adds that there was a conversation that involved Gresham "cussing out" Tony Khan. Gresham's among the most well liked people in wrestling and this seems out of character for him, so whatever was bothering him must have been serious enough for things to react that way last night.
