May 9, 2022, Raw review:
Tonight's episode opened with RK-Bro. Randy and Riddle cut a great promo on the Bloodline and said they will be demanding a tag title unification match on Smackdown. Then the Street Profits interrupted before their match. I like the attitude Street Profits have been showing lately, I hope they stay tweener.

After the commercial break was the match. I really liked this match, and Street Profits showed a more aggressive style, and it made the match feel fresh. Every time these two teams wrestle it is just a fun time for everyone involved. Montez Ford was low key the star of this match. Randy got the loudest reactions, but Randy could fart in his hand and bite it like a cupcake and the crowd would cheer. I thought this was an amazing match.
Winner: RK-Bro

Next Kevin Patrick interviewed the United States Champion Theory. Theory cut a promo like he just watched a Tupac interview. I like Theory this promo was good for what it was.
🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽
Next was a Judgement Day promo and I’m about 60/40 split on this group right now. The premise is great, there are just minor details I would do differently. Ouuuuuu Edge got a haircut, he of course cut a great promo. This was a textbook “You people” promo, and I loved all of it Damien Priest did a great job too, which I don’t say much. Rhea then took the mic and did fine. It was not bad in comparison to Edge and Damien, but it wasn’t a bad promo. Edge brought it home and completely shit on Liv Morgan. This segment was great,

After the commercial Rhea took on Liv Morgan. This match was ok. The match was good, but they are capable of much better. Rhea won by submission and “injured” her legs after the match and was interrupted by Finn Balor and AJ Styles and then apparently Damien Priest and Finn Balor are having a match. I don’t know why they are doing it now but I’m here for it.
Winner: Rhea Ripley
🖕🏽🖕🏽
After the break was Balor vs Damien Priest. This match was more of an angle than a match, but it was fun. The match was great until Rhea stood in front of Damien on the outside and Edge hit him with a spear. The ref called off the match and AJ started to brawl with Edge/ AJ held his own, but Judgement Day took advantage when AJ wouldn’t hit Rhea and Edge threw him into the post. AS an angle this was good as a match it was a good with a crap finish.
Winner: Finn Balor (DQ)

After commercial was a backstage segment with Alpha Academy and Kevin Owens. This segment was hilarious. Look for it and watch it. Kevin Owens announced Ezekiel would wrestle Kevin Owens “older brother” and I’ve never been more excited.
🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽
Next MVP and Omos were in the ring and MVP cut a fun heel promo. I expected Bobby Lashley to interrupt this segment. But Cedric interrupted instead, and he made me laugh man. He was just blowing smoke up MVP’s ass and he shut him down. Oh wait, never mind there’s Bobby Lashley and he looks angry. He murdered security guards and sadly Cedric Alexander. MVP and OMOS got away, so Bobby murdered Cedric again. #SendCedrictoNXT

Next was a segment with Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville. It was announced she was having a match against a mystery opponent. After the commercial break Sonya Deville got fired as an official. Then Alexa Bliss made her return, and everything is right in the world. This was a squash match and that’s fine. I like Sonya Deville, so I hope she doesn’t get squashed if they have a rematch. But it made sense this time because she is understandably an emotional wreck.
Winner: ALEXA BLISS!!

Next was Ezekiel vs “Kevin Owens older brother” aka. Kevin Owens in a grey Wig. I loved this, please find this and watch it.
🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽
Next was a backstage promo with Asuka, Adam and Becky Lynch. It was announced Asuka will face Bianca for the title if she beats Bianca and I wanted to punch a wall. Becky cut a great promo about how that’s stupid and I liked the beginning of Asuka’s promo. I wish they would portray her a little more seriously. Its ok to not be fluent in English but I’d rather hear a great Japanese promo with subtitles than have Asuka look like a joke.
🖕🏽🖕🏽
Next Veer came all over Hartford's own Frank Lomen after he cut a nice underdog promo. Stop calling his finish the cervical clutch, that’s not what a cervix is Bruce.
🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽
Next the youngest grandson of a plumber cut a hell of a promo backstage before his U.S title match.
🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽
The match was fun. They teased a table spot, but Thery got away and scampered into the ring before the commercial break to an orchestra of boos. After the break Cody heated up and then got blindsided by Seth Rollins...I knew this feud wasn’t over but I’m still salty. I don’t think it needs to continue.
🖕🏽
Next the Womens tag champs Sasha Banks and Naomi took on Nikki A.S.H and Piper Nevin. They had a fine match, and the champs retained their titles due to bad communication between Nikki A.S.H and Piper Nevin.r
🖕🏽🖕🏽
Next was Ali vs Ciampa with Miz as special guest referee. Why is he the special guest referee? Both guys are great performers and Ciampa is my favorite NXT wrestler of all time. Miz kept slow counting Ali throughout the match, and this allowed Ciampa to take the advantage and Ciampa won via fast count. I thought this was the main event and I got really excited until that deflating finish. On the Brightside this furthers the storyline between Ali and Miz that I didn’t know existed until tonight but let’s not have Ciampa feel like an afterthought going forward please.
Winner: Ciampa

Next was a Lacey Evans promo. Keep her babyface and give her a finisher that isn't a punch, and she can be a star.
🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽
After commercial Bobby Lashley cut a great promo for him and announced a steel cage match on RAW? Hell in a Cell is the next Premium Live Event, but I’m not going to complain I hope it's good.
🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽
After that there was a 24/7 squad segment, and I checked my phone when I saw Tamina.
🖕🏽
The main event was Bianca vs Asuka. I talked about this earlier and I still think that premise is dumb, it gives away the match you're selling. I love Becky Lynch on commentary or maybe I just love being mean to Byron Saxton. This match was great until the most predictable finish of all time. Becky interfered and beat up Bianca and Asuka.
Winner: Bianca Belair (DQ)

The flow of the show was odd to start but I really liked the first 90 minutes of the show then the booking habits of the old RAW started to show. Overall RAW this week was 🖕🏽🖕🏽
