It is being reported by PWInsider that the Bankadaktyls (Naomi & Sasha Banks) have been removed from WWE’s internal roster. This was said to have taken place over the past 24 hours. The source have heard rumblings that Banks may be doing some signings outside of McMahonopolis, as early as the Fall, but no official confirmation.
On June 15th, it was revealed that Sasha had been released from WWE. It was unclear if she requested her release, or if it was on the fed’s end. This was later confirmed by other sources that she'd been released. Others were under the impression from many talents, that she was no longer with the company & that both sides were just holding out to release a statement.
The Bankadaktyls were indefinitely suspended on May 20th, after walking out the day of Raw on May 16th. WWE issued the following statement @ that time -“they walked into Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis’ office, with their suitcases in hand, placed their tag team championship belts on his desk... & walked out.”
The duo were the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions @ the time, having won the gold @ WrestleMania 38. They were set to participate in a 6-Pack Challenge on that episode of Raw. It was reported that there were backstage disagreements about the overall state of the Women's Tag Team division.
